IN TOTAL THERE ARE 358 HARMONICAS A FEW BEING TUNING INSTRUMENTS ETC. All have been stripped cleaned and restored to the best order age and condition will allow. Reed plates and covers lacquered (invisible) to prevent and further deterioration. All rust, oxidisation and 'crud' removed. Cases have been restored, repaired and lacquered where necessary. Also included are a quantity of NEW HOHNER spares including chromatic bodies,(10 & 12) reeds, valves,slides , push knobs, plate pins, complete valved reed plates (pairs) etc , etc. |
The collection consists of Diatonic,Tremolo,Chord,Echo,Richter,Octave,Orchestra,Bass,
Etc. There are single-side, double side, Four in one, 4 & 6 wenders, Horns, Electronic & self playing harps. 60 Chromatics.2 Rolmonicas.(Boxed) |

Cabinets include six wood or plastic cabinets,(see above photos), a wheeled, 4 sided
display cabinet, holding up to 80 harps depending on size. Also a desk top
cabinet for 'specials' |
A conservative estimate of well over 1000 hrs work in restoration, over a period
of years. |
Data includes 100's of booklets, listings,latest Hohner books, a signed 1st edition
of Larry Adlers book,advertising sheets, music, how to play data, etc, in folders.
A detailed list of all harps, dates and data. A copy of my website which
details the collection. Also the harmonica content and rights to the website data,
which would be removed from my site after a sale, all my data on restoring
harps, plus 100's & 100's of harp photos. |
Most of what is included can be seen on my website, but there is a lot that is not
depicted there due to space. |
