Hohner "World Renown" Full Concert Harp C.1910. |

Hohner "World Renown" Full Concert Harmonica. Wedge shape body 40 reeds. Looks and sounds very similar to the harp in the "Trumpet Call" M220, the mouthpeice and note layout that is. Bit rusty to start with, but cleaned up nice with all reeds working OK. This ones travelled the atlantic twice at least as it came to me from the States. Makes you wonder who's owned it.? Maybe a cattle-man.? |
You can just about see the wedge shape of the body (Left). Last medal shown on covers is Stuttgart 1881. As you can see, it has the star between the hands, which are about the best pressing I have seen on a Hohner, very nicely delineated. The front cover is less well pressed, except for the head of Matthias. Found some cheap glasses in clear cases for £1 each. Chucked the glasses, the cases are ideal for harps, as you can see both sides without removing. |
