How it arrived ! Complete with various tenents1
Only other markings are "Registered & Made in Germany"
It can be seen that the zinc reed plates had corroded badly.Various tenents bedding as well.
Reeds were encased in corrosion and needed much care in cleaning.
Stripped ready for action! Residents evicted from slots 9.11 &14!!
Plates cleaned of corrosion and rust, ready to be lacquered
Plates after lacquering, ready for final reed & slot cleaning
Zinc covers after first clean, ready to be polished and refitted.
Any dent, bends and dings removed at this point.
Covers cleaned inside and out and lacquered both sides

And heres the final product, as best I can get it after about a hundred years of wear & tear. Preserved for future. Still plays all reeds, not quite in tune though!!
